ARLINGTON, Texas -- Eduardo Rodriguez sparkled in his major league debut, leading the Boston Red Sox to a 5-1 victory over the Texas Rangers in the opener of a four-game series before 34,085 Thursday night at Globe Life Park.
The 22-year-old left-hander shut out a hot-hitting Texas lineup on three hits before turning it over to the bullpen with two out in the eighth.
