Prospect Johnson unharmed after carjacking

BOSTON -- Red Sox left-hander Brian Johnson, who made his Major League debut in 2015, was unharmed following a carjacking incident in Florida.

According to the Florida Today, the incident took place at about 2 a.m. ET on Friday at a convenience store in Cocoa Beach. Thomas Carrigan, the driver and owner of the car Johnson was in, also escaped injury.

Johnathan Oshaun Gould, 31, was arrested a short time after the incident and charged with carjacking, aggravated assault, persons engaged in a criminal offense having weapons, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon and violation of felony probation, the report said.
