Pawtucket Red Sox president James Skeffington died on Sunday night. He was 73.
Team spokeswoman Patti Doyle said Skeffington died Sunday while jogging in Barrington, R.I., The Associated Press reported.
Skeffington was part of the ownership group that purchased the Red Sox's Triple-A affiliate in February, and he was one of the owners pushing for a new stadium to be built in Providence, R.I.
