The Red Sox headed into the final game of the series with the Blue Jays hoping for a series win from the AL East leading team. The Sox had Joe Kelly on the mound who has won his last 7 straight starts and looking for his 8th win. The Jays had Drew Hutchinson on the mound. Kelly got the win easily with a bunch of run support, including David Ortiz hitting his 498th career home run. The Sox aren’t playing for October, but they sure can give trouble to those who are hopeful to be playing post season ball.
