Happy Tuesday. After beating almost a dozen donuts off the Bear Claw, the Astros knocked the Red Sox 5.5 games back in the Wild Card. Once again, having an “underdog” identity doesn’t mean “don’t help the underdog beat the overdogs.” The good news is there are still two more games with Brayan Bello and Kutter Crawford starting, and both are probably better than Chris Sale at this point in their careers. Still, a series that could have resulted in making up ground now, at best, will result in treading water; that wasn’t really the plan.
