Happy Wednesday.
A tough but somewhat expected loss last night as the Red Sox drop to under .500 again with yet another regular hitting the IL.
It’s day baseball today at 1:35 PM ET and hopefully Atlanta just takes the afternoon off.
Remembering 2004
It was a bad game 61 then too: dropping to the Dodgers 14-5. The Sox scored 5 runs off Jeff “Dream” Weaver but Tim Wakefield was crushed for 8. Dave McCarty did pitch a scoreless inning back when seeing g a position player toss from the mound was a rare thing.
