Happy Tuesday.
The pitching regression has arrived. While it was unlikely Andrew Bailey had some magic to turn all the Red Sox starters into aces it didn’t seem like it would unravel in a week or so. And with Garrett Whitlock now done for (at least) the rest of this season there isn’t really help on the way. Feels like it could turn into 2023 when Alex Cora was running out opener after opener trying to keep the team above water. Hopefully Craig Breslow, should the need arise, won’t be afraid to acquire even a Garrett Cooper or Dom Smith for the rotation.
