The Red Sox have a whopping 15 players eligible for arbitration. That group includes Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley Jr., Xander Bogaerts and Drew Pomeranz all heading for significant raises. That means payroll is likely to climb, even if the Sox don’t bring back any of their eight pending free agents.
