Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts won his second Gold Glove in as many seasons u200blast u200bnight, beating the other two finalists for the honor in the American League, rookie Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees and Kole Calhoun of the Los Angeles Angels.
Betts won his first Gold Glove last season, which also happened to be his first season at the position. He came up in the Red Sox system as a second baseman and played in the outfield in the majors in center.
Betts led all outfielders in the game in 2017 with 31 defensive runs saved, just one shy of overall leader Andrelton Simmons of the Angels, the Gold Glove winner at shortstop.
