DETROIT -- Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts said Friday that he is free of the headaches that plagued him for the first three or four days after he flipped over the bullpen wall at Fenway Park on July 28, has passed testing required by MLB's protocol for players experiencing concussive symptoms and has been cleared by the team's medical staff to resume baseball activity.
