Baseball’s game of managerial musical chairs picked up more steam Sunday when the San Diego Padres announced that interim skipper Pat Murphy will not be back in 2016.
The departure of Murphy, who was 42-53 after taking over for Bud Black in mid-June, was far from a surprise.
