It has been clear for months that the Red Sox were never going to seriously consider re-signing Craig Kimbrel, which you probably know I’m not crazy about. I’m also an incredible stubborn and, some may say, dumb person, and because of that I’ve convinced myself that the Red Sox will sneak in at the last second. Since the future Hall of Fame closer is still on the market, I’ve had a long time to convince myself of this falsehood. Fortunately, it seems like I may be able to stop that nonsense soon, as the Brewers have emerged as serious suitors for Kimbrel.
