Two hits and a stolen base for Nick Yorke. He’s recorded a hit in seven straight games and 15 of his last 16. Is he one of those post-hype prospects who puts everything together after a lot of people have moved on from him? Either way, the Red Sox seem to have a bunch of options at second base all of a sudden, with David Hamilton proving that he’s a big leaguer, Yorke and Chase Meidroth making cases for call-ups, and Vaughn Grissom (presumably??) returning form injury some day.
Portland, L 8-0

Well, in a week when people were speculating whether the Big Three of Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony, and Kyle Teel were on the verge of a promotion while others were saying the emergence of Kristian Campbell actually makes them a Big Four, all four dudes combined to go 3-14 at the plate and were twice thrown out attempting to steal.
