Not a fun game for the Red Sox last night, and the sloppy defense is adding up to more losses. On the farm, by the time that 11-inning tilt was decided, some rough starting pitching had gotten the affiliates on a 1-3 slide yesterday. It wasn’t all bad, but some patterns are rearing their ugly heads on each team.
Worcester: W, 7-4 (BOX SCORE)

For most of the game last night, I was holding my breath after Garrett Whitlock’s early exit, knowing that, outside of Jason Alexander, there not’ many pitchers left in Worcester I’d trust with a spot in the rotation.
