The Red Sox have made some roster moves. Michael Chavis is coming up to the big club, and he’ll be joined but Tzu-Wei Lin. To make room on the roster, Eduardo Nunez has been placed on the injured list and Erasmo Ramirez was designated for assignment.

On Thursday, Dustin Pedroia was placed on the injured list and Marcus Walden was recalled, so the roster is still at 13 pitchers and 12 position players.
