BOSTON -- Joe Kelly returned to Fenway Park on Sunday afternoon, enthusiastic about the simplified and aggressive approach he plans on using out of the bullpen.
The hard-throwing righty was recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket to fill the roster spot of Heath Hembree, who was optioned following Saturday's game.
"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't trying to strike everyone out as a reliever now, but that's what I'm trying to do," said Kelly. "The scenarios and situations you come into as a reliever, usually, there's a starter who's left a runner or two on base, one or two outs, a guy in scoring position.
