BOSTON -- For reliability, Koji Uehara and Junichi Tazawa have ranked 1-2 in the Red Sox bullpen for the better part of three seasons. But Uehara, who was hit by a line drive in Detroit that knocked him out of the season’s last eight weeks, will be 41 next season, and Tazawa has hit a rough patch in the season’s second half that suggests he might be wearing down.
