John Farrell: 'I'm feeling pretty darn good'

A day after announcing his cancer was in remission, Red Sox manager John Farrell is happy to be on the mend.

"I feel like the news of yesterday, and getting a clean bill of health has been a huge relief," Farrell said.

Farrell's lymphoma was treated aggressively, and he was given six months of chemotherapy in an eight week period.

His last treatment came three weeks ago, and now he says he's feeling good and has no restrictions.

The manager has been walking two or three miles a day, four to five times a week, and is working to get his strength back.
