Before this afternoon's deadline, the Red Sox and right-handed pitcher Joe Kelly agreed to a one-year deal for 2016. Kelly went 10-6 with a 4.82 ERA this season.
The Red Sox have two arbitration-eligible players remaning -- left-hander Robbie Ross and right-hander Junichi Tazawa. The club and the players can still agree to a 2016 contract before an arbitration hearing, a date for which has not been determined. The Red Sox have not gone to arbitration with one of their players in more than a dozen years.
According to WEEI, Kelly and the Red Sox agreed to a deal worth $2.
