It’s been two weeks since Dave Dombrowski stood in the visiting clubhouse of Angel Stadium and announced that he’d seen enough.

Enough of the low-scoring games with wasted opportunities. Enough of the one-run losses when the big hit never came. Enough of the offensive inconsistency that made the Red Sox so maddening.

Enough already.

Dombrowski stood in manager John Farrell’s office and announced he was calling up top prospect Rafael Devers. Two days later, he traded for Eduardo Nunez. Three days after that, he made clear that he expected more from the guys already in place.
