J.D. hits 32nd HR, goes B2B with Benintendi

BALTIMORE -- The forecasted rain on Wednesday at Oriole Park hadn't begun, but the Red Sox made it pour regardless.

Andrew Benintendi's 15th home run of the season came off Dylan Bundy just two batters into the Red Sox's series finale against the Orioles. The next batter, J.D. Martinez, extended his Major League home run lead with his 32nd to make it 2-0.

One inning later, Mookie Betts took Bundy deep for a three-run homer, giving the Red Sox a 5-0 lead, just before the tarp was rolled out and a rain delay began.
