The Red Sox came into Saturday’s game and the hot bats got right back to work. Wade Miley was on the mound, however it didn’t matter much as the Sox bats ended up scoring 22 runs when all was said and done. Jackie Bradley Jr continued to show his stuff, this time with his offense. Bradley hit 2 homers and went 5 for 6 on the day. It was without question Bradley’s best offensive day since he’s been with the big club.
The Sox offense started to get all over Felix Hernandez in the 2nd inning. Pablo Sandoval got the Sox on the board when he hit a solo homerun to start off the inning.
