On Sunday, September 13, The Highland Street Foundation, the Boston Red Sox and the City’s Parks and Recreation Department, will hold the second annual “Out of the Park” event, a free, family-friendly program transforming a busy corner of Boston Common into Fenway Park. “Out of the Park” will present the Red Sox/Tampa Bay Rays away game live on a big screen while recreating the excitement of Yawkey Way and Fenway Park for the community with food, fun and activities available at no cost to participants.
“Out of the Park brings the electrifying atmosphere of a Red Sox game to one of the city’s most treasured public spaces, allowing fans of all ages to enjoy game day,” said Boston Mayor Martin J.
