The Boston Red Sox announced their 2020 Opening Day roster Thursday, one day ahead of their season-opener with the Baltimore Orioles Friday night.
Of note, catcher Jonathan Lucroy was selected to the roster, as were right-handed pitchers Colten Brewer and Phillips Valdez, and left-handed pitchers Matt Hall, Josh Osich, and Jeffrey Springs.
