Hanley Ramirez aids Red Sox with aggressive baserunning

BOSTON -- As Hanley Ramirez chugged towards him in the eighth inning Saturday at Fenway Park, Boston Red Sox third-base coach Brian Butterfield raised both arms, a signal to stop.

But a caravan of police cars wouldn't have brought Husting Hanley to a halt.

Ramirez scored from second base, tacking on an insurance run in a 6-2 win over the Seattle Mariners, in the latest aggressive baserunning play by the Red Sox slugger. In one instant, it appeared he would be doubled off when Jackie Bradley Jr.
