With yesterday's news of a spring training camp for unsigned free agents, it's worth wondering just how productive such a camp might be.
A look through more than 100 available free agents reveals the potential to viably play intrasquad games day after day with enough position players, starting pitchers and bullpen arms to field two full teams with spring training-sized benches, legitimate five-man rotations and extended bullpens loaded with experienced closers, lefty specialists and extra starters to provide innings.
These 30-man rosters leave out many more who could participate -- there's no Mike Napoli or Chris Carter, no Michael Saunders or Chris Young, no R.
