For John Henry’s Red Sox, Big Deadline Deals Used To Be The Norm

As we wait for the dam to break and for moves to start flying across Major League Baseball ahead of next week’s trade deadline (this feels like a year where everything is going to happen at the last second), I thought it would be a good time to look back at the major trades the Sox have made in the John Henry era.

The only rules here are that they had to be summertime deals (so no offseason stuff), and I limited them to 2002 onward to stay in the John Henry era. Other than that, I just picked the ones that I thought were the most significant.
