If you like players who combine dingers and steals, here are a handful to keep an eye on during season-long drafts.
The 30-30 man in baseball is dead.
From the dawn of baseball through the 1987 season, there had been 11 seasons in which a player hit both 30 home runs and stole 30 bases. Bobby Bonds, the father of the great Barry Bonds, was responsible for almost half of those seasons (five), so suffice it to say that players who could combine that type of production was rare.
Then, 1987 happened, where four players (Joe Carter, Eric Davis, Howard Johnson and Darryl Strawberry) all joined the 30-30 club.
