Good news folks, Dustin Pedroia is on his way back and we are more than excited!
Alex Cora noted that Pedroia would be back this Friday. Pedroia has been shelved for the first 50 games of this season after recovering from knee surgery in the off-season.
Dustin finished up his Triple-A assignment at Pawtucket on Thursday; unfortunately, he went 1 for 14 in his five games with the Paw Sox.
Pedroia is expected to return to his starting role and Cora said that he will bat somewhere after the 1-2 spots, since he can’t disrupt what he has with Benintendi and Mookie.
