The Red Sox are off to a rough start in their World Series title defense.
Boston dropped to 2-8 after their third-straight defeat on Saturday. David Price allowed four runs and seven hits in six innings as the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Red Sox 5-4.
Despite the slow start, the lefthander hopes the team hears cheers at Fenway Park on Tuesday. The Red Sox will celebrate their fourth ring ceremony in 15 seasons with their fellow champions, the New England Patriots, on hand for the festivities.
Asked what the reception will be like from the Fenway faithful, Price responded, “Cheers, I hope.
