FORT MYERS -- A year ago, David Price was already on the shelf with a forearm-elbow issue that derailed him for most of the season.
Yesterday, after facing the first live hitters this spring in a controlled minor-league game on a back-field at JetBlue Park, Price was in a good place, physically and mentally.
“Good -- to get that first one out of the way in a controlled environment like that, it feels good -- just to be able to stand here right now and feel as good as I feel, it’s different than many other spring trainings,” said Price.
