On the 20th anniversary of the Red Sox’ 2004 American League Championship Series Game 4 victory, which sparked a historic comeback down 3-0 in the series, David Ortiz couldn’t help but bask in the highlights from that game.
Ortiz, who’s an analyst for MLB on FOX alongside former Yankees Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter, was at the television desk following Game 4 of this year’s NLCS between the Mets and Dodgers on Thursday night. Thursday marked two decades since Dave Roberts stole second base and eventually scored in the ninth inning and Ortiz hit a walk-off home run in extra innings.
