There is a lot of talk about what the Rays have been able to do in their organization the last few days, and for very good reason. They are certainly a model to follow, at least in some respects. That said, given the Red Sox’s financial might, the Dodgers are the better model. (Alex Speier; Boston Globe)
We have a lot of hope for Chaim Bloom’s era in Boston, and I think it’s all valid. His trade deadline in particular was encouraging for the future. All that said, this offseason is going to be the first chance to really see what a front office with him at the helm will be about.
