The Red Sox have yet again been eliminated from postseason contention after a 6-1 loss to the Blue Jays on Wednesday night.
Boston’s chief baseball officer Craig Breslow discussed his priorities for the future of the team during a Thursday segment on “The Greg Hill Show.” His areas of focus for the offseason include seeking high-quality starting pitching and balancing out the lineup.
“Obviously, it’s left-handed heavy and a number of our young players who will be impacting the big league club shortly are also left-handed,” Breslow said. “We can never have enough quality starting pitching.
