Upon news of the death of former Red Sox Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr at the age of 99, many in the Red Sox community responded. Here are some comments:
“I’m very saddened to hear about the passing of Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr, one of the nicest gentlemen I’ve ever met. Now Ted, Johnny Pesky and Bobby are together again. Rest in peace, my friend.”
