What does Red Sox general manager Brian O’Halloran think of how Ron Roenicke is doing so far as interim manager?
While appearing on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show” on Thursday, O’Halloran was asked about producer Kevin Laird’s recent column, in which Laird argued that former manager Alex Cora was ‘still the perfect fit’ as manager of the team after this season.
More specifically, O’Halloran was asked about when the team could reach back out to Cora — who is currently suspended by the MLB.
“Let me answer that two ways: the sort of technical answer to your question regarding his suspension I believe is the end of the Major League season, which includes the playoffs, but that is not something we’re focused on,” O’Halloran said.
