SAN DIEGO — Taylor Jungmann's first major league season didn't end quite the way he wanted.
Jungmann lasted only three innings and allowed Yangervis Solarte's two-run homer as the Milwaukee Brewers lost 3-1 to the San Diego Padres on Thursday.
Although Jungmann finished with a record of 9-8, he was 1-3 with two no-decisions in his final six starts.
Jungmann allowed three runs and four hits, walked four and struck out two.
"Of course the last month or so was pretty rough for me," he said. "I got in a funk and couldn't find a way out of it.
