The Red Sox and the Blue Jays faced off on Canada Day in a day game at Rogers Centre. The Sox had Rick Porcello on the mound an the Jays had Mark Buehrle on the mound. Porcello struggled with the long ball and didn’t make it to the 3rd inning. Porcello has struggled for much of this season and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a DL stint in his future.
Porcello started the first by giving up a 3 run homerun to Encarnacion and then followed it up with a 2 run homerun to Smoak. Sox 0-5.
