The Red Sox welcomed in the Toronto Blue Jays for the first time in 2025 on Monday after sweeping a doubleheader from the Cardinals, and it was Richard Fitts vs. Jose Berrios in the divisional battle on a cold, misty night at Fenway. It was kind of a dud. Jarren Duran led off with an emotional first-pitch double in the first, and that was pretty much the highlight of the evening. There was little to write home about, just a couple chances that fell short after the Sox fell behind early. An utterly forgettable game which I recommend forgetting.
