LOS ANGELES — Chad Billingsley felt at home kicking the dirt on the mound at Dodger Stadium. Looking around, he saw familiar sights such as Vin Scully in the broadcast booth and heard familiar sounds like organist Nancy Bea Hefley.
Except he was wearing a road uniform.
Pitching in a comfort zone, Billingsley won for the first time in over two years, helping the last-place Philadelphia Phillies beat his old team, NL West-leading Los Angeles, 7-2 Tuesday night.
"It's been a long road. I was pretty excited to be back out there," Billingsley said. "There were a lot of emotions.
