BOSTON -- The Red Sox got a big boost from one star returning from injury in Saturday's first inning -- and appeared to dodge a bullet with another.
Hanley Ramirez lined a two-run home run over the Green Monster at Fenway PArk on a hanging changeup from Baltimore starter Alex Cobb -- an emphatic first at-bat back from a wrist contusion that kept him out of Friday's game. It was the third home run of the season for Ramirez, as many home runs he hit all of last April.
That swing came moments after Mookie Betts limped off the field following a collision with Baltimore catcher Chance Sisco in the bottom of the first inning.
