ARLINGTON -- The power surge from Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts shows no signs of slowing down.
In the top of the sixth inning on Friday night at Globe Life Park, Betts belted a solo shot to left against Rangers right-hander Bartolo Colon to extend Boston's lead to 3-1 and extend his Major League lead in home runs to 13.
It was the fifth in the last three games for the star leadoff hitter, who homered three times Wednesday in Boston and homered again in Arlington on Thursday.
