BOSTON -- It will be a least a couple of days before Mookie Betts is back in center field for the Red Sox. In Friday's 13-10 loss to the Blue Jays, Betts crashed into the wall in right-center and sprained his lower back.
"He's sore today," said Red Sox manager John Farrell on Saturday. "He's probably going to need a couple of days to get over the impact of last night."
Though Jackie Bradley Jr. continues to perform well at Triple-A Pawtucket, the Red Sox don't seem inclined to make a roster move just to cover for Betts in the short term.
