One of the best things about being a blogger is the ability to combine two of my passions: Reading and the Red Sox, allowing me the opportunity to review some of the great books out there, not only on the Red Sox, but on various aspects of baseball as well.
And having the chance to review a Red Sox book with my 4-year old is even more of a treat–for both of us.
So when children’s author Franklin Black reached out to me about his new book, Petey Porcupine Rocks the Sox , which was inspired by a porcupine he saw in the woods, I was excited that my daughter and I would have an opportunity to read it together.
