Alex Cora and the Red Sox reportedly might find themselves in hot water after Boston’s manager seemingly admitted that his team tried to intentionally hit Yankees star Aaron Judge with a pitch during a drama-filled game in The Bronx on Saturday.
According to Mark Sanchez of The New York Post, MLB is currently investigating Cora’s comments — which signaled that Boston was purposely throwing at Judge during the sixth inning of that game.
Yankees ace Gerrit Cole raised the temperature of Saturday’s game off the bat when he drilled Red Sox slugger Rafael Devers with a pitch in the first inning.
