The Red Sox still have a little over two weeks until the 2025 regular season gets underway.
But even with Boston’s 40-man group still in flux due to both injuries and the play of players currently on the roster bubble, manager Alex Cora believes he already has the framework of how he wants to build out the top of his lineup.
Speaking to reporters in Fort Myers on Wednesday, Cora announced that the top of Boston’s lineup during most games will feature Jarren Duran batting leadoff, Rafael Devers in the No. 2 hole, Alex Bregman batting third, Triston Casas handling cleanup duties, and Trevor Story rounding out things in the fifth spot in the order.
