HOUSTON — No lead is safe in this World Series.
Game 5 last night was an action-packed thriller that began at 8:20 p.m. and ended at 1:39 a.m., and was worth every minute spent watching.
The Los Angeles Dodgers separately lost a four-run lead, a three-run lead and a one-run lead. And the Houston Astros, after overcoming three deficits, gave up a three-run lead in the ninth inning.
But after Kenley Jansen plunked Brian McCann and walked George Springer with two outs in the 10th, Alex Bregman came through with a walkoff single to give the Astros a 13-12 win in an instant World Series classic.
