According to a report by Jon Morosi and Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, The Diamondbacks and Red Sox agreed in principle on Wednesday night to the trade that will send the lefty to Boston in exchange for right-handers Rubby De La Rosa, Allen Webster and another minor leaguer yet to be named.
Stewart told reporters at the MLB winter meetings that same night, however, that the two sides had been unable to agree on prospects and thus a deal was a no-go at that moment. However, it appears the two sides have now come to accord.
Stay tuned to Chat Sports as additional details on the trade are announced.
