The Boston Red Sox are working diligently to trade first baseman/outfielder Allen Craig while his value remains relatively high, per a report by FOX Sports' Jon Morosi.
According to Morosi, the Red Sox are currently in "active" trade discussions with at least one team on Craig:
#RedSox in "active" trade talks on Allen Craig with at least 1 team, sources say. He's said to be fully recovered from foot injury.

Craig is owed $26.5MM over the next three years, which includes a $1 million buyout on his $13 million club option for the 2018 campaign. While that contract appears pricey for a player who was beset by injuries in 2014 and saw his strikeout rate rise dramatically from 17% in 2013 to 22.4% last year, a return to the form of his 2011-2013 seasons could mean nice value for any team that trades for him.
While no concrete details have emerged yet on exactly who is in on Craig, don't be surprised if that information leaks within the next 24-48 hours.
Stay tuned.
