The Boston College women’s basketball team will start workouts Monday morning in preparation for a European trip to Italy this month. The Eagles will go on a 10-day trip from August 15-25 on a trip organized through Basketball Travelers. The Eagles will touch down in Rome on Sunday, August 16, and take a short flight to Milan and begin their trip to Lake Como.
The team is allowed through NCAA rule to train for 10 days prior to the trip. The Eagles travel schedule includes touring the Lake Como area, a day trip to Venice, a visit to the Ferrari Museum in San Marino, the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Vatican City.
